Political interference in the CBF can lead to punishments even for clubs

FIFA can suspend or even exclude confederations from tournaments; depending on the decision, clubs may also be prevented from participating in international competitions. The possibility that Jair Bolsonaro asked for Tite's resignation from the command of the Brazilian team to the then president of CBF Rogério Caboclo turned on the alert about a possible punishment from FIFA to the confederation.
